Spyed : Fiat 500 Abarth SS

We spotted around the legendary Nurburgring track a couple af Fiat 500 Abarth prototypes... one is the “standard” Abarth version, that should be equipped with 135hp powerstep 1.4-litre turbo engine. The other, colured in a wired dark grey / brown, seems to be an even sportier version: Fiat 500 Abarth SS, a little bomb with 150hp or more, true racing suspension settings and really aggressive bodywork.

Let’s talk about how the Fiat 500 Abarth SS looks like: as you can see in the photogallery, the aerodynaic kit makes this Fiat 500 a wild tuning model. Brand new sideskirts, redesigned wheel archs are key features of the side view. The bonnet is redesigned, with big air intakes. Front bumper features air intakes too, and brand new design. The rear side is as “bad” as the rest of the car, with double side mounted exhausts and a big spoiler. Multispoke alloy wheels are 17 or even 18 inch, for direct racing handling.
