F1 News: MCLAREN FOUND GUILTY !


The judgement is: McLaren Mercedes was found in the espionage affair by the FIA World engine sport Council for guilty. After the team was not punished with the first negotiation, the “new proofs” caused a hard reaching of the WMSC through. McLaren Mercedes are denied all technical designer WC points of the season 2007, in addition that must pay running universe 100 million dollar fine. From this season the team may keep the FOM incomes however. For the season 2008 must be submitted to the World Council a report over the new car, afterwards on a possible further punishment one decides. If a McLaren driver should win remaining running at 2007, no McLaren responsible person will be allowed to stand on the podium, since the team does not receive points of technical designer and no cup due to the punishment.
On the drivers the judgement does not have influence. They may keep their collected WC-points from the 17 season running. The driver WC remains open also in the last four season runs.

The technical designer WC goes to the punishment from McLaren at Ferrari, place 2 occupies BMW clean and the 3. Place inherits the acting technical designer world champion Renault.
BMW said director of engine haven Mario Theissen already before the pronouncement of judgment about possible 2.
